Jessica A. Duhig received a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from Purdue University. She also completed minors in Political Science, Philosophy, and English. Jessica earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. While on the Dean’s List at Chicago-Kent, she was recognized for receiving the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Negotiations. During law school, Jessica completed an internship with the 19th Judicial Circuit of Lake County Staff Attorney’s Office and volunteering as a Court Advocate for domestic violence victims at A Safe Room at the Lake County Courthouse. Jessica volunteers through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services by serving as guardian ad litem in minor and adult guardianship matters.

Prior to and during law school, Jessica worked as a law clerk where she developed her legal skills and formed a passion for probate law and estate planning. Jessica has appeared in court on behalf of clients in the Probate Division and Chancery Division in various Illinois circuit courts pertaining to decedent, disabled and minors’ estates. Jessica advises clients on the application of Illinois law to various trust administration, modification, and will constructions. Jessica also assists in the development and execution of complex estate plans.
